“It took some time for me to determine that the next step in my career would require a job search, but no time to figure out that I didn’t know how to create a resume for an executive level position. Luckily I found Gail Jacobs. She knew what questions to ask and how to present my experience, skills, and education in the context and format that would appeal to recruiters and potential employers. The outcome was a resume that accurately represented my accomplishments and strengths and how my career had prepared me for the position I was seeking. The unanticipated bonus was that my resume enhanced my self-confidence as I embarked on the journey.”

R.C., Vice President of Human Resources, Consulting Industry

Gailon (Gail) E. Jacobs has more than 25 years of experience in human resources and secondary and higher education. She got her start recruiting while in the Admissions Office at Lehigh University. Since then she has lead recruiting teams for three different global companies in the technology, construction, consulting, engineering and manufacturing. She also has extensive experience in HR systems and operations.  In these roles, she has overseen global staffing, HR operations and systems, immigration, orientation/onboarding, global relocation, and university relations. One of her most interesting experiences was fourteen months in China leading a company’s HR team.

Gail has earned some of the premier certifications in the human resources field. She’s also been a presenter at the ERE Talent Analytics Conference in 2016 – “From Leading to Lagging Indicators” and was a contributor to “The Future of University Credentials: New Developments at the Intersection of Higher Education and Hiring”, by Sean Gallagher (Harvard Education Press, 2016). Gail has an MS in Industrial and Labor Relations from the University of Rhode Island, and an MA in Social Relations and a BA in Government from Lehigh University.

She has spent most of her career concentrating on University Relations. Danelle is passionate about helping students from all over the globe secure that first job out of college.

After attending a conference and speaking to a young woman who was extremely intelligent, but ill prepared to sit in front of a hiring manager, Danelle co-founded Get-Attention. Get-Attention affords Danelle the opportunity to take her passion for student hiring in new directions by allowing her to assist individuals with resume writing, job search, and interview preparation skills. Danelle has hosted webinars for HCI and ERE, has been a panelist at the Social Recruiting Strategies Conference and a track leader at multiple #tru Unconferences; she is a reoccurring speaker at NACE.
